A unified platform to detect, recover, and protect children from trafficking.
Project Exodus is owned and licensed by America's Future Inc. The mission is to leverage decades of operational experience to safeguard recovered trafficking survivors from re-exploitation through a comprehensive, multi-layered protection strategy — and to extend that protection upstream into community-level detection and downstream into vetted placement.
Three components, plus continuous intelligence
Citizens and credentialed private investigators apply, are vetted (including background check), complete a 14-module training course, and pass a final assessment to receive Certified Child Safety Advocate (CCSA) designation. Certified advocates submit structured field reports through the mobile-first app — with offline-first encrypted queueing — and reports route automatically to the appropriate law-enforcement partner.
From rescue through reunification — five trauma-informed phases of care. Levels of care (1 through 4) are used for placement classification only, never for billing. Treatment teams, intake assessment, reunification workflow with DNA verification and household-adult background checks, and a 12-month post-reunification monitoring window with flag-raised auto-escalation to crisis staff.
Hospitals, group homes, and foster families register through a dedicated partner portal and push real-time bed availability. A ranked matching engine surfaces only vetted facilities, weighted by level-of-care fit, geographic proximity, language match, age range, and recency of vetting. Every placement decision is auditable.
Cross-cutting layers across all reports and cases: hotspot pattern detection (3+ independent CCSAs reporting the same geofence within 30 days), sibling and family network search, missing-children database cross-reference, re-exploitation prevention with paid adult-survivor mentor pairing, multilingual survivor surfaces, cross-case predator pattern recognition, and a 24/7 crisis intervention layer with on-call escalation.
Architecture standards
- Tamper-evident audit log: every state-changing operation appended to a hash-chained log, with periodic external anchoring to a durable store. Visible publicly at /status.
- Trauma-informed UX: calm color palette, no surprise pop-ups, predictable navigation, survivor-respectful voice, support for English / Spanish / Vietnamese with more languages in Phase 2.
- Mission-critical posture: HSTS, MFA-capable staff auth, partner-agnostic webhook integrations, offline-first reporting, anonymous-by-default for observed subjects.

This deployment is a working prototype for internal demonstration. It is not yet operational for real survivor data. The full set of gates between today and a real production launch — independent security audit, legal & compliance signoff, real partner agreements, real training content, 24/7 staffed crisis line, encryption at rest — is documented in PHASE2_READINESS.md in the repository.
